Inktober Day 9 Nest

Philippine eagle
Pithecophaga jefferyi
Endemic to the country and critically endangered.
Largest eagle by length and wing (not weight or bulk).

In terms of this drawing: first time I used a brush (watercolor, I had lying around) and ink (India).

Just went for it and didn't worry about mistakes, etc.
Not bad. Lots to learn.
The feel, the way it acts, and strategizing how to go about the drawing was very different from say, pen or ipad pencil.

Unsplash: Jomark Francis Velasco

Not the actual brush for this drawing, this was a purchase shortly after that I used the rest of the way.
