Kumain ka na ba?

In the Filipino language [originally Tagalog] this phrase translates to “Did you eat already?”, which can be a greeting especially around meal times. I think this makes for a great welcome little animation for JunJunDrawDraw.
This was created with a drawing app called Procreate. Some quick deets: 88 layers used, 33 hours tracked drawing time, and the brush used was “Dry Ink”. The hours tracked is a lot, and unfortunately I spent way more hours than that because I redrew this at least 4-5 times for various reasons - them being color vs linework only, floating hand vs floating half-person, white or transparent background, length of animation, digital file size, etc.
Big learning activity. Happy for the most part. Maybe I will revisit this again down the road and make the animation a little smoother.
