Getting into Halloween/All Saints Day vibes with this drawing.

In the Philippines, there's a saying that if you are lost in the woods - and this could be for various reasons and caused by various entities - to remove your shirt/top, flip it inside out, before putting it back on. It will usually work to help you find your way back.

This brings us to Fanfanilag [among many other names from Filipino folklore] - read up on this a little bit, love folklore and mythology.

I've heard this could be a trickster spirit or a vengeful soul of the dead, typically bad news bears.

In the Philippines today, it's more well known as Santilmo/Santelmo, a word/name the Spanish introduced derived from St. Elmo. Meh.
